Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree, or equivalent years of experience and education, is required.
  • Three years of experience are required.
  • Epic certification or accreditation in one or more modules is required.
  • The role requires frequent keyboard use and data entry.
  • The role requires the ability to use hearing and speech to share information through oral communication and to hear alarms and malfunctioning machinery.
  • The role requires the ability to identify and distinguish colors using near and far vision and depth perception.
  • The role requires the ability to perform frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of objects weighing 0–25 pounds; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of objects weighing 25–50 pounds; and rare climbing.
  • The role requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and repetitive foot, leg, hand, and arm movements, as well as occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, and gripping.
Responsibilities
  • Configure, support, and maintain Epic training applications to meet organizational needs.
  • Serve as a coordinator and collaborate with business operations, information technology, leadership, system users, and vendors.
  • Build and understand the Electronic Health Record (Epic) to develop training curricula and resources and facilitate training delivery.
  • Understand standard system workflows and analyze new workflows, application dependencies, and user competencies in collaboration with operational end-users, subject matter experts, and application analysts.
  • Design and maintain Epic training environment builds, scenarios, and role-based training materials.
  • Analyze training data and review training feedback and assessment data to determine curriculum modifications that ensure training success.
  • Devise assessment methods to measure training effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the planning, design, development, build, and maintenance of training environments.
  • Assist in coordinating training environment testing.
  • Support small teams or projects with manageable risk, resource requirements, and complexity, and apply project management principles to create project tasks.
  • Serve as an information technology liaison for Epic functionality training and support.
  • Solve complex problems through analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Contribute to the planning, design, development, and build of technical training platforms and use best practices for technical training platforms and authoring tools.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
