Compensation Range:
$60,431.00 - $84,603.00
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
Inspects, manages, and sets priorities on all activities within assigned operations. Coordinates events occurring within these facilities while maintaining communications with all clients. Develops budgets and manages operating revenues. Supervises assigned trade personnel/staff and makes recommendations on hiring, training, performance assessment, staff development, disciplines, and terminations. Assists in the development of a capital renewal program.
Hours: Mon - Fri 7am-3:30pm
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Develops procedures for environmental service delivery, training materials, and new hire protocols. Conducts training and periodic audits to ensure standards are met. Addresses deficiencies and makes recommendations. Maintains awareness of industry best practices.
- Maintains inventory control of all environmental service equipment. Develops capital budget recommendations for the replacement of equipment. Manages routine maintenance schedule contracts and emergency service repairs for equipment.
- Manages events scheduled on campus, serving as Facilities point of contact to customers. Attends coordination/planning meetings, reviews safety information, and oversees billing to customer accounts. Serves as additional support to overarching maintenance team events.
- Plans, organizes, and directs furniture and property staff. Coordinates move logistics for furniture/office staff to facilities and with university customers. Responsible for hiring or making recommendations for hiring, completes performance evaluations, and maintains records necessary to evaluate and address staff activity.
- Using industry best practices, creates and maintains consistency of Environmental Service materials and supplies. Coordinates with and makes recommendations to Materials Management regarding inventory.
- Provides support for staffing-related issues related to assigned leadership. Provides guidance and support to environmental service supervision. Develops reports and recommendations to leadership. Ensures compliance with University general, fiscal, budgetary, and personnel policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 4 years of experience required
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to be be available for rotating on-call responsibilities required
