Requirements
  • At least two years of facilities experience, plus experience with building systems such as HVAC, lighting controls, or electrical power systems; office equipment; warehouse operations; electric pallet jacks; cleaning or janitorial practices; building operation repairs; or customer service.
  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Ability to secure an Electric Pallet Jack certification within one month of employment.
  • An active CPR/First Aid Certification is required within one month of employment.
  • A valid California driver's license and valid automobile insurance are required.
  • Must meet and maintain IEHP insurance standards for driving company vehicles, including a driving record with no more than three points.
  • Knowledge of basic first aid and safety practices.
  • Computer skills including typing, data entry, and email management.
  • Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to drive a box truck and operate a lift gate.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and demonstrate physical stamina and dexterity.
  • Availability to work nights and weekends.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines, and resolve problems independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to understand and remain sensitive to multicultural communities.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee inventory control for the assigned Community Wellness Center, including forecasting needs, implementing tracking systems, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
  • Coordinate and resolve facilities service work orders, maintain building systems such as HVAC, electrical, and lighting, and oversee repairs.
  • Conduct and evaluate routine facility inspections while ensuring security, safety, OSHA compliance, and building functionality and appearance.
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships and service contracts, and monitor vendor performance for cost-effectiveness and service quality.
  • Plan and execute logistics for special events and programs, including resource allocation, budget requirements, and member experience standards.
  • Monitor and manage Community Wellness Center grounds and custodial operations to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Facilities, Warehouse, Information Technology, and leadership teams on operational needs and improvements.
  • Implement process improvements for inventory and facilities management using operational data and member feedback.
  • Serve as the logistics lead and Information Technology point of contact, perform basic troubleshooting, manage service tickets through resolution, and communicate with staff, partners, and leadership.
  • Serve as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding space utilization, vendor coordination, and event operations.
  • Develop and implement inventory tracking systems and process improvements to reduce errors, improve reporting accuracy, and reduce costs.
  • Analyze operational metrics and member feedback to identify trends and recommend improvements to inventory systems and event workflows.
  • Coordinate inventory strategies with Facilities, Warehouse, and leadership teams to ensure timely replenishment of critical supplies.
  • Provide guidance and oversight for inventory-related tasks and guidance and mentorship to team members on logistics and resource-management practices.
  • Serve as the first point of contact at Community Wellness Center reception, direct members to appropriate resources, and support quality-improvement initiatives by identifying care gaps and contributing to new practice implementation.
  • Perform other duties relevant to the position, center, and organization as required.
  • Drive and travel throughout the Inland Empire and work evenings and weekends at community events as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Customer service experience in a managed care setting.
  • Experience with community-based organizations.
  • Knowledge of the Medi-Cal or managed-care environment.
