Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, completion of an accredited paralegal program
  • JDs with 1-2 years experience welcome OR
  • At least 3-5 years of experience working as a paralegal, preferably in a technology or SaaS company.
  • Strong knowledge of contract management, legal research, and compliance procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in legal software and databases. Ironclad preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the drafting, review, and management of contracts, including NDA's, vendor agreements, and customer contracts (including Data Processing Agreements and Business Associate Agreements.)
  • Organize and maintain a contracts database/repositories and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Compile information/statistics as requested
  • Implement, enhance and maintain legal tools such as the JIRA ticketing system, Ironclad, etc.
  • Train legal/privacy Team, and broader business (e.g. Sales) where applicable, upon legal tools.
  • Manage and update legal templates
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support the legal team.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory changes and legal trends affecting the industry.
  • Assist in regulatory compliance activities, including export compliance screening.
  • Help prepare reports and documentation for compliance audits.
  • Assist in maintaining corporate records, filings, and compliance with corporate governance requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
