Requirements
  • A college degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required to relate effectively with managers and staff at various levels.
  • A minimum of two years of experience working in a provider recruitment or human resources environment is preferred.
  • Word processing experience is required, including mastery of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Access.
  • The ability to operate computers and use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
  • The role requires the physical ability to sit for up to six hours per day, stand and walk as necessary, frequently finger and handle objects, and occasionally twist, turn, push, pull, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, and reach above shoulder level.
  • Hearing sufficient for normal conversation and general and near vision are required.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the complete advanced practitioner candidate interview process and onboarding experience.
  • Develop, maintain, and foster relationships with external vendors, agents, and community partners supporting the provider candidate experience.
  • Assist with negotiating vendor contracts and pricing, including hotel and car rental programs.
  • Arrange video and conference calls and schedule on-site candidate interviews with administrative assistants and other staff.
  • Create detailed interview itineraries for provider candidates and schedule appropriate interviews and meetings for candidates’ spouses or families when needed.
  • Administer provider candidate on-site surveys and service-line candidate feedback surveys, monitor completion and follow up, and make recommendations based on collected feedback.
  • Arrange hotel accommodations and travel, including flights, car rentals, and car-service pickups, and manage changes, interruptions, and weather-related issues cost-effectively.
  • Coordinate restaurant reservations, food deliveries, catered meals, dietary restrictions, and related payments for department interviews.
  • Track interview recruitment expenses, determine necessary or adjustable costs, align expenditures with recruitment budgets, and resolve vendor discrepancies.
  • Serve as the candidate’s primary point of contact before, during, and after interview visits and provide contact information for questions or issues.
  • Process receipts and check requisitions for interview-related reimbursements and send them to Accounts Payable after director approval.
  • Travel to other sites for business meetings, conferences, and career fairs as needed.
  • Initiate reference checks, privileges applications, and credentialing processes in collaboration with the Central Verification Office and service lines.
  • Use the Verity system to manage provider credentialing and privileges processes and help ensure privileges are granted before contracted start dates.
  • Verify and update Workday status for new hires and transfers and enter or upload required clearance information and documents.
  • Support new hires in completing pre-employment requirements and clear candidates to commence employment.
  • Schedule and facilitate New Provider First Day Orientation.
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and hosting the monthly New Provider Resources Overview.
  • Support provider contracting by assisting with credentialing and enrollment for providers hired through acquisitions or affiliations.
  • Act as the primary liaison with the network Central Verification Office to ensure credentialing and enrollment deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with department members and network stakeholders on related responsibilities and projects, including physician interview and onboarding processes.
  • Provide customer service to network employees, visitors, and volunteers.
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.

  • A college degree with a major in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in a provider recruitment or human resources environment.
  • Experience with other personal-computer software.
