Requirements
  • Bachelors and +20 years of experience, or an MS/MBA and +18 years of experience preferred.
  • Management experience, technical program management or field applications engineering experience.
  • Understanding entire WiFi/BT, UWB system and implementation.
  • Understanding entire ASIC design and manufacturing flow. Hands-on experience in HW design of Silicons (WiFi/BT and any other connectivity) Platforms for consumer devices such as smartphones, or any other edge devices.
  • Good Knowledge and exposure to cellular/RF,(3G, 4G LTE and 5G) connectivity (WiFi, BT and GNSS) technologies and protocols. Exposure to Process technologies, Advanced Packaging and Manufacturing.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with customers to solve their system requirements utilizing SLSI’s components and reference designs.
  • Demonstrated ability to comprehend and consider both technical & business information. Exhibit strong executive presentation skills with the ability to influence internal as well as external stakeholders.
  • Frequent work and meetings are required with Asia(Korea, China) and Europe team.

Responsibilities
  • Support the design-in activities and business operations by working with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Sales and Marketing teams to secure customer engagements.
  • Act as local support interface for US customers for existing accounts and ongoing programs (leading both FAE and commercial team as a project manager).
  • Engage in engineering & commercial discussions with customers.
  • WiFi/BT, UWB, Modem market survey and developing new customers and applications.
  • Act as local POC for engineering/commercial VOC collecting and leading issue resolving by circling back internally with right internal POC.
  • On-going and future projects reporting to both US and Korea Executives.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholder teams such as Marketing, Sales, Product Planning and development teams to know and understand S.LSI’s differentiated SoC offerings, roadmaps and strategies.
  • Work with customer teams to map their requirements to existing S.LSI offerings, identify potential gaps, and champion their cause by driving internal development teams to address their needs and deliver technical solutions.
  • Develop and build relationships with customers’ teams to understand their technology needs, application requirements and jointly define the best silicon/platform solutions to enable customer’s products.
  • Engage with Customer’s JDM/ODM and internal team to manage sales operations for active program.
