- Doctorate Degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology with subspecialty in headache (BC/BE headache neurologist)
- Must be eligible for Missouri and Kansas state medical licenses
- Provide 100% headache neurology coverage; infusion suite available
- Participate in on-call responsibilities shared among neurologists with support of advanced practice providers
- Educate and supervise neurology residents (the neurology residency program provides 12 residents educational opportunities in all of the Neuroscience Institute’s comprehensive treatment centers)
- Pursue or accept leadership roles such as Medical Director or Residency Program Director for qualified candidates
- Pursue academic appointment through University of Missouri-Kansas City, commensurate with level of experience
- Engage in research activities with abundant opportunities; potential for start-up funding for motivated candidates
- Utilize and maintain the Epic electronic medical record system
- Contribute to the academic and teaching mission as Saint Luke’s Hospital is the primary teaching hospital for UMKC Medical School
