The Role:
The primary focus of the Deal Desk Analyst will be to help structure profitable and compliant transactions that address the needs of a diverse set of internal stakeholders, maximize Viz’s revenue, and increase the effectiveness and productivity of Viz’s sales force. This role will act in a fiduciary capacity in managing first line approvals for the deal approval process. This will be accomplished by discussing deals with the sales teams to identify Customers’ critical business issues and assist in structuring transactions that meet both Viz’s requirements and the Customers’ needs.
You will:
- Be a trusted advisor to the sales team, collaborating on pricing, product, and commercial terms for non-standard transactions
- Work as the primary liaison between multiple groups such as Sales, Sales Ops, Legal, Finance, and Engineering to help facilitate the deal process
- Own the creation of quotes and orders using Salesforce CPQ
- Manage all approvals on non-standard terms
- Keep track of next steps and outstanding items for late stage deals
- Partner with legal and finance to resolve complex contract issues and develop solutions in compliance with business practices and policies
- Undertake ad hoc responsibilities as needed to support the sales team
What success looks like:
- Proficiency with organization systems and process
- Fluency with Viz products and pricing structures
- Confidence in collaborating with teams across the organization and driving time sensitive decisions
- Delivering the consistent energy and effort needed to successfully support the Sales organization
We are looking for:
- 2+ years of experience in a deal desk role
- 1+ years of experience working in a SaaS company/with subscription products
- 2+ years of experience with Salesforce CPQ
- Effective communicator, both written and verbal
- Result driven and organized with excellent attention to detail
- Experience working in a fast paced environment with changing priorities
- Adept at working with cross functional teams and building meaningful business relationships along the way
- Flexible to work extended hours during peak periods

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Salary Range: $93,000 - $121,000
Compensation includes base salary + stock options
