Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in supply chain or a related field.
  • Proficient English business communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency operating a computer, including Windows-based operating systems and related software.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel functions such as VLOOKUPs, data filters, and pivot tables.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Responsibilities
  • Send Purchase Order Action reports to suppliers and manage purchase order actions weekly.
  • Generate and manage purchase order releases for indirect materials, services, and capital expenditures, and support production releases as needed.
  • Monitor, track, and communicate purchase order status accurately.
  • Maintain and set up parts in the enterprise resource planning system, including preferred supplier, prime manufacturer part number, minimum and maximum order quantities, lead time, and non-cancellable/non-returnable information.
  • Work with the Procurement Manager, Director of Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to obtain authorization for pricing, non-cancellable/non-returnable terms, premium freight, and materials liability.
  • Source materials to address shortages, reduce delivery impact, and minimize unfavorable purchase price variance and excess inventory.
  • Manage Material Review Board items related to quality, receiving issues, engineering change orders, and nonconformance reports, including supplier returns.
  • Execute contract changes.
  • Execute Plan for Every Part and Vendor Managed Inventory changes recommended by the Commodity Manager, Procurement Manager, or Director of Supply Chain.
  • Follow supplier approval and review processes.
  • Manage stock levels of shop-floor consumables, office supplies, and equipment.
  • Monitor, maintain, and replenish common consumables areas.
  • Review packing slips for product accuracy, put materials away, and approve invoices.
  • Conduct daily walk-throughs to ensure appropriate stock levels of needed supplies and consumables.
  • Make credit-card purchases and complete expense reports.
  • Drive cost reduction and negotiate with suppliers for items not owned by commodity management.
  • Work with Finance, suppliers, and the Commodity Manager to resolve invoice issues.
  • Support buyers with procurement activities.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the manager.

Jul 21, 2026 ViTrox Americas is pleased to announce the appointment of Huy Pham as Technical Support Engineer, strengthening the company's commitment to delivering world-class service and technical expertise to customers throughout North America. In his new role, Pham will provide technical support, troubleshooting, training, and applications assistance for ViTrox's industry-leading inspection and manufacturing intelligence solutions. He will work closely with customers to optimize equipment performance, improve production efficiency, and support successful implementation of ViTrox technologies across a wide range of electronics manufacturing environments. Pham brings more than a decade of experience in electronics manufacturing, process engineering, inspection technologies, and production support. His background includes extensive work with SMT manufacturing processes, automated optical inspection (AOI), automated x-ray inspection (AXI), soldering technologies, process optimization, and advanced manufacturing equipment. Most recently, Pham served as Senior Process Engineering Technician at Creation Technologies, where he supported process validation, technical documentation, training initiatives, and cross-functional process improvement programs. Prior to that, he held several engineering and technical leadership positions at Flex, where he gained hands-on experience programming and troubleshooting advanced inspection systems, including ViTrox platforms.
