Requirements
  • A two-year technical diploma or degree in industrial maintenance, or five years of industrial maintenance experience with technical training.
  • Experience covering electrical and mechanical equipment maintenance, including electrical wiring, electronics, programmable logic controllers, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic motor control.
  • Experience with fabrication equipment such as milling machines and band saws.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair manufacturing and facility equipment as required.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on automatic assembly and packing machines and injection molding machines.
  • Perform assigned project work, including kaizen activities and equipment improvements using programmable logic controller programming.
  • Install and debug production equipment, including electrical and mechanical utilities.
  • Respond to safety-related matters.
  • Reduce downtime by quickly responding to, diagnosing, and repairing requests from internal customers.
  • Determine the root causes of equipment failures and determine countermeasures.
  • Prepare maintenance daily reports, work orders, and work requests.
  • Communicate verbally and in writing with other departments regarding maintenance activities.
  • Provide service, repairs, and facility modifications as assigned.
  • Perform job duties according to Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines, safety rules, and housekeeping requirements, and ensure other maintenance associates follow those guidelines.
  • Work overtime and other shifts as required, and perform other assigned duties.

  • One to three years of maintenance experience with automated assembly equipment and/or injection molding equipment.
