GN Store Nord upgrades EBITA margin to 9-10% as Evolve3 headsets drive H2 growth

GN Store Nord reported Q2 2026 results showing mixed performance across divisions. The Enterprise division saw organic revenue decline of 7%, or 3% excluding FalCom, with strong growth in North America and APAC offset by pressure in EMEA. The division's profit margin reached 31.0% with gross margin at 57.2%. The Gaming division grew 5% organically, driven by market share gains from Nova Pro Omni headsets. Its profit margin expanded to 15.0% from 12.2% last year, with gross margin at 39.2%. Group adjusted EBITA fell to DKK 110 million, representing a 5.1% margin compared to 7.1% in Q2 2025. Free cash flow was negative DKK 616 million due to working capital increases and Hearing carve-out costs. GN upgraded its full-year adjusted EBITA margin guidance to 9-10% from 8-9%, while narrowing organic revenue growth expectations to 0-3%.

Financial guidance 2026: Upgrading adjusted EBITA margin, while narrowing organic revenue growth guidance.

Financial guidance 2026: Upgrading adjusted EBITA margin, while narrowing organic revenue growth guidance. GN news. Aug 19, 2026. As a consequence of strong improvements in the second quarter, and an assumption of continued improvements in the second half of the year (including expected refunds of tariffs), GN Store Nord is upgrading its adjusted EBITA margin, while narrowing its organic revenue growth guidance. Adjusted EBITA margin In Q2 2026, GN delivered slightly above internal assumptions, including an improving gross margin, leading to an adjusted EBITA of DKK 110 million (adjusted EBITA margin of 5.1%), which is boding well for a strong H2 2026 driven by traditional revenue seasonality and further margin progression. During H1 2026, GN applied for refunds of the US IEEPA tariffs. In H2 2026, GN now expects to receive (and consequently recognize) tariff refunds between DKK 100 - 150 million (nothing recognized in H1 2026 and nothing was assumed in the prior guidance), which will positively impact margins and cash flow in H2 2026. As a consequence of the revenue seasonality, strong focus on margin improvements and the assumed tariff refunds, GN is expecting a strong adjusted EBITA margin improvement in H2 2026, which is expected to lead to an adjusted EBITA margin of 9-10% in 2026. Organic revenue growth The development in the Enterprise business in Q2 2026 has been slightly above earlier assumptions, including an organic revenue growth of -7% in the quarter. Enterprise markets outside of EMEA continued to deliver strong growth in H1 2026 and this is assumed to continue throughout the remainder of the year. In EMEA, market conditions remain challenging but continue to gradually improve. Sell-out trends showed signs of improvement in Q2 2026 and this is expected to continue into the second half of 2026 with more Evolve3 products being launched. While some channel inventory reductions have weighed on reported revenue in EMEA during the last few quarters, they are assumed to be more stable in the coming quarters. Lastly, some of the earlier assumed upside scenarios for FalCom's 2026 revenue are now expected to shift into 2027. Consequently, it is assumed that Enterprise will contribute with organic revenue growth in the lower half of the earlier assumed range of -3% to +3% - this would imply a return to positive organic revenue growth in H2 2026. The development in the Gaming business in Q2 2026 has been in line with earlier assumptions, including an organic revenue growth of 5% in the quarter. It is currently assumed that the broader gaming equipment market will experience modest growth in 2026 driven by important new game introductions towards the end of the year. However, the pace of market recovery has proven slightly more gradual than assumed earlier, with consumer sentiment remaining muted across key regions. GN expects to continue to gain market shares driven by the very strong brand, innovation leadership, and category expansion. Consequently, it is assumed that Gaming will contribute with organic revenue growth in the lower half of the earlier assumed range of 7% to 13% - this would imply double-digit growth in H2 2026. Following the updated divisional assumptions, GN Store Nord (continuing operations) is narrowing its organic revenue growth guidance from 0% to 6% to now 0% to 3%. Financial guidance for 2026 (continuing operations) | Organic revenue growth | Adj. EBITA margin | | Updated | Prior | Updated | Prior | | 0% to 3% | 0% to 6% | 9% to 10% | 8% to 9% | GN expects to publish its Q2 2026 interim report later tonight. GN brings accessible audio and k-pop together at World Congress of Audiology.

GN brings accessible audio and k-pop together at World Congress of Audiology. May 26, 2026 SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA - GN is using the 2026 World Congress of Audiology (WCA) in Seoul to spotlight the role of accessibility and inclusive audio experiences in hearing healthcare, while also releasing new survey data examining social perceptions surrounding hearing loss. As part of the event, GN partnered with Ampetronic to host "Seoul Session: A Live Auracast(TM) Event," described as South Korea's first live Auracast broadcast audio installation. The event combined live music, accessibility technology demonstrations, and discussions around representation and inclusion for people with hearing loss. The event featured a performance by Big Ocean, a K-pop group whose members live with varying degrees of hearing loss, followed by a jazz performance and panel discussion focused on accessibility in music and entertainment. GN also released findings from new YouGov research conducted across the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia, which explored public perceptions surrounding hearing loss and communication challenges. According to the survey, more than one-third of respondents with hearing loss reported being perceived as rude or disengaged, while up to 40% said they were viewed as less intelligent or less capable because of their hearing difficulties. The research additionally found that more than one-third of respondents believed others expected them to "try harder" to hear in difficult listening situations. GN said the findings highlight the continuing social and communication barriers experienced by many people with hearing loss. "These misconceptions don't just affect perception, they influence how environments are designed, often overlooking the complexity of hearing in dynamic, noisy settings," said Andreas Anderhov, GN APAC President. "That's why our focus at the World Congress of Audiology is to create an experience that everyone can participate in fully and equally." Auracast demonstration focuses on shared listening experiences. The Seoul Session event centered around Auracast broadcast audio technology, a Bluetooth LE Audio capability that allows venues to transmit audio directly to compatible personal devices such as hearing aids, earbuds, smartphones, and dedicated receivers. According to GN and Ampetronic, the setup was designed to demonstrate how broadcast audio technologies may support more flexible listening experiences in live entertainment venues without requiring designated seating areas or specialized venue-issued devices. The installation utilized an Auri transmitter system to broadcast venue audio, along with compatible receivers and personal devices capable of tuning into the live stream. "Music has always been a way for us to connect, even when others assumed it might not be possible," said Haley Cha, CEO of Parastar Entertainment, which created and manages Big Ocean. "As artists with hearing loss, the members of Big Ocean know what it feels like to be left out of shared experiences, and how powerful it is when those barriers are removed." British comedian Angela Barnes also participated in the event and discussed how hearing loss has shaped her experiences performing live. "When you're on stage, the connection with the audience is something you feel as much as you hear. Having hearing loss has shaped how I experience those moments, it makes you very aware of connection in all its forms. That's why this idea of technology bringing more people into the same live moment is so meaningful. It opens up what shared experience can be." -Angela Barnes Sam Burkinshaw from Ampetronic added that live performances can often remain challenging listening environments for people with hearing loss. "Live performances can be challenging for people with hearing loss, often limiting how they experience the moment," Burkinshaw said. "Auracast helps address this by delivering 'front-row' sound directly to personal devices, so audiences can enjoy events together. Through our partnership with GN, we aim to accelerate adoption globally and inspire venues to rethink how they deliver accessible audio." GN demonstrating hearing technology at WCA 2026. Alongside the accessibility-focused event, GN said it is also showcasing several hearing technology demonstrations during the World Congress of Audiology exhibition, including demonstrations of the company's deep neural network (DNN) hearing technology and hearing-in-noise performance capabilities. The company stated that the demonstrations are intended to highlight how compact hearing aid designs, AI-driven processing, durability, and connectivity features are increasingly being applied to real-world listening environments.
