  • Master's Degree in Social Work.
  • Arkansas licensure as an LMSW OR LCSW; an AR licensure as an LCSW is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Direct Care: Provide direct care to clinic patients, as referred by physicians, utilizing behaviorist/consultant skills. Collaborate with the treatment team to create and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Health Outcomes Promotion: Collaborate with the treatment team to promote patient health outcomes, working closely with primary care physicians to address physical health and behavioral health needs.
  • Behavioral Health Curriculum Development: Develop and revise behavioral health curriculum for family medicine residents, ensuring content is up-to-date and aligns with current best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with clinical team members and health students to provide education, consultation, and support in incorporating behavioral health into primary care practice.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients about behavioral health issues, treatment options, and the importance of regular mental health check-ups.
  • Evaluation: Conduct ongoing evaluations and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and make necessary adjustments.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest advancements in behavioral health and attend relevant conferences and trainings.
  • Administrative Duties: Complete administrative tasks, such as documentation and reporting, as assigned.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
