Requirements
  • 10+ years of design experience, with at least 3+ years leading and growing design teams.
  • Creative and entrepreneurial problem solver with a strong record of building & shipping innovative, user-centric designs.
  • Diverse portfolio showcasing responsive and native app expertise applied to craft elegant solutions and visually stunning assets. Marketplace experience is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Coach and inspire a talented, driven team of designers. Foster an environment of continuous growth and development. Advocate for the team and ensure we retain and nurture a strong design culture.
  • Guide effective discovery and timely, high-quality delivery of product UX, brand assets and cohesive journeys that delight the community of creatives whom Peerspace serves. Refine the overarching design principles, tone and creative direction to ensure consistent excellence.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to evolve our long-term company vision and strategy. Bring this to life through innovative storyboarding that paints an ambitious yet achievable future that people want to be a part of.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to make sure our cross-functional product squads are empowered and executing smoothly against the biggest opportunities. Streamline processes to improve velocity and efficiency.
  • Partner with Brand and Marketing leaders to help shape the overarching brand vision. Identify and implement strategies to strengthen alignment with our brand playbook; ensure a seamless and consistent representation of the Peerspace brand across all touchpoints.
  • Champion systems thinking and reusable componentry; ensure we strike the right balance between being nimble and learning quickly while building a solid foundation that sets us up for faster iteration, consistency and scale.
