Requirements
  • Completion of a PhD or substantial progress toward a PhD in epidemiology, biostatistics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with health data from clinical trials, cohort studies, or large administrative health datasets.
  • Familiarity with quantitative research methods and their application in health research.
  • Ability to critically appraise and synthesise literature relevant to reproductive and perinatal health.
  • Postgraduate or PhD qualifications in epidemiology, statistics, biostatistics, public health, with a strong component in epidemiology and biostatistics, or a related degree.
  • Research experience in terms of publications in high quality journals, attraction of external competitive grants and presentations at a national and/or international level, preferably related to reproductive/perinatal health.
Responsibilities
  • Support a range of projects by managing and analysing data from clinical trials, cohort studies, and large linked administrative datasets.
  • Contribute to study design and implementation, perform statistical analyses, and help prepare high-quality publications, reports, and conference presentations that influence policy and clinical practice.
  • Contribute to the development of grant applications and assist in mentoring students involved in the research program.
  • Support study design, contribute to publications, present findings at conferences, and assist in preparing research funding applications.
