Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of servicing staff.
  • Improve customer satisfaction and call quality by monitoring queue calls and providing feedback.
  • Participate in staff interviews and make hiring recommendations.
  • Meet regularly with direct reports to establish individual and team performance goals, review and coach performance, discuss operational issues, facilitate collaboration, and review training and development needs.
  • Monitor and track the monthly tax report for escrow payout.
  • Refer delinquent tax suits to an attorney and monitor the process timeline.
  • Complete monthly Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems reconciliation.
  • Monitor the monthly paid-in-full report to ensure lien release and flood cancellation.
  • Design, maintain, and implement policies and procedures for the Mortgage Servicing department.
  • Review weekly and monthly self-audits for compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Ensure yearly Internal Revenue Service tax reporting is completed.
  • Ensure yearly privacy notices are sent.
  • Provide responsive and timely internal and external customer service.
  • Provide oversight of sub-servicers and other vendors to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure annual Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems and Federal National Mortgage Association recertification processes are completed on time.
  • Prepare regulatory and investor reporting.
  • Assist with servicing file transfers.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in cross-functional projects.
  • Train new Mortgage Servicing Specialists.
  • Perform other work as required or requested.
