HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
The Store Growth Initiatives, Store Operations Intern is responsible for assisting in executing the company’s retail growth strategy across the U.S. and Canada, by supporting store openings, relocations, closures, and remodels through project management.
This role reports into Manager, Store Growth Initiatives and is based in our Atlanta, GA office in our on-site work environment.
55% Project Management
- Assist in planning and execution of store projects, including openings, relocations, and closures, collaborating with business partners and field teams to ensure smooth projects from start to finish
- Support coordination among varying departments to aid in operational decisions and timelines
- Contribute to process improvements by identifying trends to new or ongoing issues; partner with leadership to implement solutions to minimize disruptions and maximize revenue days
- Assist in creating and updating project plans that align with company initiatives and strategic goals
25% Reporting and Communications
- Monitor and report progress and timelines for task completion, ensuring successful outcomes and resolving any outstanding issues
- Assist in running recurring and ad hoc reporting to support store projects; summarizing and communicating findings
- Assist field through proactive communication on all store openings, relocations, and closings operational activities
20% Ad Hoc Store Operations Support
- Provide support for various store operations projects, as needed, which may include reviewing processes, remodel stores project management, labor optimization, etc.

Must have:
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (3.2 strongly preferred)
- Enrollment in a Bachelor/Master’s degree program at the time of the internship (certificate programs are not eligible)
- Availability to start on the designated start date in May
- Availability to work for a minimum of 10 out of the 11 weeks of the defined internship period which runs from May-August
Preferred skills and experience:
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including foundational knowledge of Excel
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience in retail or customer service is a plus
