Requirements
  • A high school education or equivalent GED is required.
  • Two to five years of experience in a related position and environment is required, with knowledge of water and wastewater treatment methods, techniques, and practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally regarding operational, process, safety, and quality instructions.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical equations.

  • Ability to diagnose process and mechanical problems, troubleshoot basic equipment, and take corrective action within policy and procedure limitations.
  • Working ability to use computer programs for process control.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and assume additional or new responsibilities.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Ability to respond to emergency calls and work extended hours as needed.
  • Typically holding or working toward an intermediate-level water or wastewater treatment certificate, including the minimum license required by site regulatory agencies.
  • A valid driver's license and safe driving record are required.
  • Rhode Island Wastewater Grade I certification is required.
  • Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather and in environments involving fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals, heavy machinery, high pressure, extreme temperatures, slippery surfaces, water hazards, and electrical equipment.
  • Ability to enter confined spaces, use ladders or stairs, and lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally, or up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to walk up to five miles per shift and perform the required standing, walking, handling, reaching, and visual-observation duties.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor operating conditions, meters, and gauges.
  • Collect and test water and sewage samples.
  • Record meter and gauge readings and operational data.
  • Operate equipment to purify and clarify water or process and dispose of waste.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, tanks, filter beds, and other work areas.
  • Inspect all equipment regularly.
  • Follow United States Environmental Protection Agency regulations.
  • Ensure safety standards are met.
  • Drive a company vehicle when required to perform duties.
  • Detect process nonconformance and machine malfunctions through close visual observation.

Veolia raises $1.3B in oversubscribed senior bond offering with $3.8B orders

Veolia posts 10.4% net income growth in H1 2026, raises full-year guidance to 8%

Veolia Environnement reported revenue of €22.93 billion for the first half of 2026, up 1.5% at constant scope and foreign exchange, excluding energy prices. The company's EBITDA reached €3.55 billion, rising 5% with margins improving by 70 basis points to 16%. Current net income grew 10.4% at constant scope and forex, whilst net free cash flow improved by €164 million compared to the same period in 2025. The company achieved €195 million in efficiency gains during the period. Veolia completed its acquisition of Cleaners in the United States, which contributed to net financial debt of €24.5 billion. The company raised its full-year 2026 current net income growth guidance to at least 8%, citing strong operational performance and well-controlled financial charges. Veolia launches $452M non-dilutive cash-settled convertible bonds due 2032

Veolia Environnement has launched a €400 million offering of non-dilutive cash-settled convertible bonds due January 2032. The bonds will be offered exclusively to qualified institutional investors through an accelerated bookbuilding process. The synthetic convertible bonds offer exposure to Veolia's share performance but will be cash-settled only, without issuing new shares. The bonds will bear an annual interest rate between 0.50% and 0.75%, with a conversion premium of 20% over a reference share price. Concurrently, Veolia will purchase cash-settled call options to hedge its exposure. The company intends to use proceeds for general corporate purposes, including purchasing the options. Veolia raises $791M through convertible bond offering to refinance 2021 debt

Enviri spins off New Enviri as standalone public company with $1.2B revenue after Clean Earth sale
