We are seeking a Vice President of Management to collaborate and strategize with leadership to realize business outcomes through strategic talent initiatives and investments.
This HR leader will help design and implement high-performance people programs around coaching and development, engagement and recognition, employee relations, among others, leveraging feedback and data-driven insights, that will enable the team and organization to achieve ever expanding goals.
What you will be doing
- Lead efforts to maintain a strong, collaborative, and high-performing business culture while focused on maximizing overall employee experience
- Partner with executives and department heads to provide insight, guidance and feedback on strategic initiatives including employee engagement, retention, performance planning and evaluation, employee relations, career development, talent analytics and KPIs, succession planning and organizational structuring
- Provide expertise and support in the design, development and implementation of the talent review process aligned to achieving team and business objectives
- Implement transparent career frameworks and development plans across the organization
- Provide support and guidance to managers and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive employee relations issues arise
- Analyze people data and trends to design and execute strategies for how we staff, onboard, develop, retain, and organize work employee development opportunities
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition, Talent Operations, Compensation & Benefits, and Learning & Development functions to best deliver on the identification of top talent, career mobility process and positive employee experiences
- Contribute to the development of best practice human resource policies, approaches and systems which help attract, retain, and develop high caliber employees, support business priorities, and promote competitive advantage.
What you need for this position
- 10+ years of experience in a Talent Management or Talent Development leadership role with a demonstrated track record of driving transformational improvements at increasing levels of complexity and organizational maturity in a global environment
- 15+ years of experience in Human Resources Business Partner or Talent Operations role
- A Bachelor’s degree, preferably with an emphasis in HR or Business
- Experience launching and managing talent programs from design to successful deployment in areas such as organization design, performance management, leadership development, employee relations, succession planning and talent development
- Experience working in a fast paced, high growth, dynamic business environment; tech industry experience highly desired
- Ability to analyze problems and effectively provide solutions, using data-driven decision-making
- Ability to build effective and trusting relationships with employees and leaders and know how to influence and empower them
- A strategic thinker that can focus on tactical and operational issues in a fluid environment
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to use sound judgement to drive complex issues to resolution
- A strong service orientation, high level of enthusiasm and a desire to help others succeed and grow
- Ability to write and communicate verbally in an effective and compelling manner
- Excellent organizational skills – can successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong attention to detail necessary to ensure integrity of data and quality work product
- Preferred experience coaching, mentoring, or managing other members of a Human Resources Business Partner team
