Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively are required.
  • The ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment is required.
  • Proficiency with basic office equipment and computer applications is required.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors by greeting them in a courteous, professional manner.
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls promptly and respond to inquiries efficiently.
  • Assist patients with appointment scheduling, forms, and general administrative needs.
  • Perform clerical and administrative duties including data entry, filing, document preparation, and office support projects.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act and organizational policies.
  • Support the healthcare team with additional administrative tasks as assigned.
