Requirements
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 15+ years of application development experience & 10+ years of leadership experience.
  • Experience with tools such as Cognos, Dremio, Cloudera, Qlik, Alteryx…
  • Financial Industry experience required.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Professional communication skills.
  • Able to use standard desktop tools effectively, including Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes.
  • Able to use wide range of office automation software, such as more advanced Excel techniques, PowerPoint presentations, FrontPage, etc.
  • Exposure to MVS 370 OS utilities, including ISPF, JCL, VSAM and DB2. Intermediate knowledge of Access.
  • Knowledge of C++.
  • Knowledge of COBOL.
  • Knowledge of Java.
  • Knowledge of LAN systems (Win NT server or UNIX or AS/400) hardware and software.
  • Knowledge of VisualBasic.
  • MVS experience, including JES2 and JCL.
  • Knowledge of SUN Microsystems Solaris.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and management of infrastructure configurations to support data and reporting systems, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to the design, development, conversion, and implementation of all BBH software applications.
  • Responsible for maintaining, supporting, and upgrading existing BBH applications with a focus on emerging technologies.
  • Oversee Technical Leader resources globally.
  • Key management interface with both internal and external users in the development of technology-based business applications.
  • Identify and communicate system deficiencies.
  • Enforce and support BBH methodology.
  • Develop systems test plans and scripts that will thoroughly exercise program logic to ensure program/application performance with regard to business requirements and system integration.
  • Execute system test plans and scripts; document results and resolve discrepancies as deemed appropriate.
  • Prepare conversion plans and design and test conversion procedures.
  • Help develop technical standards for the organization and ensure utilization.
