Position Description:
We are looking for a Natural Gas Designer to join our ICE team to improve infrastructure in our Texas offices. Candidates must have a high school diploma, and zero or more years of drafting experience in the natural gas or utility industry. Experience with design programs (Civil3D) is required, and experience with CadWorx is a plus. Excellent technical writing, organization and communication skills are essential. Candidates must be self-motivated and able to work well with others. Knowledge of personal computer hardware and software configurations is required. A flexible hybrid-remote work schedule is available.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Responsible for interpreting, analyzing, organizing, executing and coordinating new design projects and/or revisions to existing projects of varying scales and complexity
- Provide design details as needed
- Seek resolutions on non-standard analytical problems
- Create estimated time requirements for projects
- Attend project-specific meetings to determine CAD schedules
- Save project-specific data on a daily and weekly basis
- Assist Project Managers as needed
- Attend meetings as needed
- Maintain excellent client relations
- Maintain a safe working environment
Education:
- High school diploma required
Skills/Experience:
- 0 or more years of drafting experience in the natural gas or utility industry is required
- Knowledge of personal computer hardware and software configurations and familiarity is required
- Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D is required
- Experience with CadWorx is a plus
