Requirements
  • Knowledge of network security concepts, operating systems, identity and access management, and cloud computing.
  • Proficiency in security architecture, frameworks, and controls for infrastructure, applications, and cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency with security software, including antimalware, firewalls, security information and event management, network endpoint detection and response, web application firewalls, next-generation firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and intrusion prevention systems.
  • Technical and conceptual proficiency with virtualization and containerization solutions, including Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, and Azure Red Hat OpenShift.
  • Knowledge of server environments and storage area networks and network-attached storage.
  • Understanding of networking issues inherent to virtualization infrastructures, including communication, virtual local area networks, and virtual switches.
  • Knowledge of container management, including Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, and other service mesh implementations.
  • DevOps experience with at least one technology, such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure Container Service.
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including IP subnetting, TCP/IP, IP address management, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, Domain Name System, IP aggregation, network address translation, virtual local area networks, Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol, Open Shortest Path First, Border Gateway Protocol, Multiprotocol Border Gateway Protocol, Multiprotocol Label Switching, quality of service, RADIUS, Terminal Access Controller Access-Control System Plus, and IEEE 802.1X.
  • Experience with Cisco equipment, including ASR routers, Catalyst switches, UCS servers, Cisco MDS storage area network equipment, wireless controllers, and Identity Services Engine.
  • Knowledge of Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure and data center network architecture.
  • Knowledge of Cisco enterprise wireless solutions, Voice over Internet Protocol, virtual private network tunnels, load-balancing systems such as Citrix ADC, and network performance monitoring tools such as Zabbix, ExtraHop, and Gigamon.
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including IP subnetting, TCP/IP, Multiprotocol Label Switching, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, Voice over Internet Protocol, Session Initiation Protocol, quality of service, Primary Rate Interface, voice codecs, and fax.
  • Knowledge of the Avaya Communication and Collaboration Suite.
  • Experience with Avaya Communications Solution, including media servers, media gateways, and communication endpoints.
Responsibilities
  • Participate in implementing the organization-wide cybersecurity transformation roadmap and contribute to implementing the predesigned cybersecurity architecture.
  • Ensure the integrity and reliability of cybersecurity components and support the evolution, optimization, and implementation of new information technology solutions.
  • Protect critical operational technologies.
  • Collaborate as an expert on enhancement and maintenance projects for Unix, AIX, Sun Solaris, Linux, containerization, networking, and voice-network technologies.
  • Plan, collect, analyze, and provide written documentation of technological requirements to support implementation, deployment, and evolution of systems.
  • Establish a cloud strategy based on organizational needs and Santé Québec requirements.
  • Design architecture for integrating infrastructure and application technologies in cloud environments.
  • Implement cloud solutions, including application and infrastructure migrations to cloud platforms.
  • Deploy and maintain private, public, and hybrid cloud resources.
