Position Overview
We are looking for Security interns to help us make sure that Autodesk applications and infrastructure are designed, developed and tested– with security at the forefront. Our security experts help Autodesk design, build, deploy and maintain secure products. Projects can include options in Security Response, Security Engagement, Security Assurance, and Risk and Compliance.
Responsibilities
Improve Autodesk’s ability to make strategical decisions on Compliance / Sales opportunities by:
Setting up a process for including new compliance frameworks into Autodesk’s Security Compliance Portfolio
Identify potential new compliance certifications for Autodesk Security Compliance to pursue
Perform compliance assessments of technology infrastructure and operational processes and controls for assigned areas
Complete audit testing, inquiry, observation and other analysis required to meet objectives of audit projects
Minimum Qualifications
Must be at least 18 and enrolled in college or non-traditional education, such as boot camps or industry-related vocational classes and returning back to school or program following the completion of this internship
Must be attending school in the country where the internship is being offered
A mix of previous internship, school project, volunteer and leadership experience
Basic knowledge of security and risk management concepts, industry standards and frameworks
Understanding of Host, Network & Infrastructure security concepts
Preferred Qualifications
Security majors preferred
Experience in the field of security in the following areas: IT Audit, IT Risk, or Cyber security management
Programming/Scripting experience (C, C++, Python etc)
Bonus: Have security certifications such as Comp TIA A+, CISA, CISM, CISSP, ISO27001 LI or LA, etc.
About the US Intern Program
The 2023 U.S. program runs for 12 weeks (May 22 – August 11 or June 12 – September 1). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, work alongside peers from universities all over the country and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development. US recruiting begins in the Fall and concludes end of March. Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting annualized base salary between $41,000 and $81,400. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
