  • High school diploma or state-recognized equivalent
  • At least 3 to 5 years of security installation experience and network ability
  • Knowledgeable of security equipment systems (i.e., intrusion detection, assessment, and access control)
  • Capable of installing and maintaining various alarms, access control, and assessment system devices
  • Prior troubleshooting experience
  • Security industry certifications
  • Knowledge of Software House, Lenel, AMAG, Galaxy, Brivo, Bosch, Southwest Microwave, Genetec, and/or Onssi
Responsibilities
  • Service and test various Access Control and IP Camera products and platforms
  • Must be able to read and comprehend engineered drawings
  • Must have a basic understanding of door hardware installation
  • Thoroughly complete all necessary paperwork relating to job tickets
  • Must be able to travel up to 2-3 weeks at a time
  • Maintain a safe working environment at all times
  • Communicate all project activity to the UT project manager or appropriate manager in a timely manner
  • Maintain a safe driving record and report any incidents or near misses to management immediately
