Requirements
- Currently studying in German as a Foreign Language/German as a Second Language, German Studies, German teaching, or possessing equivalent qualifications.
- Experience teaching at different language levels.
- Native-level German proficiency.
- Empathy and understanding of intercultural differences.
- Availability for at least two consecutive weeks.
- Own accommodation at the work location, unless accommodation is booked through the employer.
- Provide an extended certificate of good conduct issued no more than 90 days before the start of the assignment.
Responsibilities
- Provide age-appropriate, communicative German instruction for proficiency levels A0 through C1 to groups of up to 15 participants.
- Deliver differentiated instruction for 20 or 24 teaching units per week.
- For 20 teaching units, teach Monday through Friday approximately 9:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
- For 24 teaching units, additionally teach Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.
