Requirements
  • Located in New York City - this is an on-site (M-F) role and therefore candidates located in New York City (or willing to relocate) only will be considered
  • 3+ years in Sales, 1+ year in Sales Management in SaaS
  • Proven track record of success hiring and building out a new Sales Development team from scratch
  • Strong sales enablement experience, including the development and execution of sales strategies, processes, and tools
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively influence both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in an unstructured environment, preferable in an early stage startup
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a high performing sales team, driving them to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Analytical mindset, comfortable working with sales data and leveraging insights to drive sales performance improvements
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Responsibilities
  • Manage, mentor and motivate a team of Sales Development Representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets
  • Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team
  • Set clear performance objectives and ensure the team’s adherence to sales strategies and company policies
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team culture that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies, plans, and initiatives to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales targets
  • Identify new business opportunities to target non-technical accounts for SaaS solutions, leveraging your expertise in this domain
  • Utilize sales analytics and Salesforce data to monitor sales performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales effectiveness
  • Partners with talent managers to hire new team members
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and implement sales enablement programs, tools, and resources to support the sales team’s success
  • Ensure the sales team is equipped with the proper product knowledge and sales training materials
  • Develop and refine the sales process, methodologies, and best practices to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall sales performance
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and customer insights to provide strategic guidance and recommendations
