- New York State Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide certification is required.
- English proficiency is required.
- Candidates must complete a physical examination, Quantiferon test or two PPD tests within one year, and MMR titers.
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Support activities of daily living as outlined in the care plan.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with ambulation and mobility inside and outside the home.
- Accompany clients to appointments or on walks.
- Prepare meals.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
- Experience or interest in caring for adult, elderly, or pediatric clients.
- Strong communication skills.
- A reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor.
