AlertMedia provides a mass notification system to help organizations communicate with employees during emergencies or critical events. The platform supports two-way communication so people can respond and share their status, and it sends alerts through multiple channels—text, email, voice calls, and a mobile app—to reach everyone even if some methods fail. It serves industries like healthcare, education, and transportation and is sold as a subscription based on the number of users. Compared with competitors, its key differences are the built-in two-way communication, multi-channel delivery, and focus on incident management and business continuity. The goal is to help organizations quickly and reliably inform staff, confirm statuses, and coordinate responses during severe weather, security threats, or operational disruptions.

AlertMedia launches agentic AI Assistant to help security teams assess risks, generate insights, and act faster.

AlertMedia launches agentic AI Assistant to help security teams assess risks, generate insights, and act faster. September 2, 2026 AI Assistant connects situational awareness, impact analysis, and executive-ready insights to help teams move faster from risk awareness to resolution. AUSTIN, TX - AlertMedia, the world's leading provider of risk intelligence and incident response solutions, today announced the launch of AI Assistant, the industry's first agentic assistant built natively into a risk intelligence and response solution. Designed to help organizations quickly access, analyze, and act based on their complete operational context, AI Assistant enables organizations to ask questions in natural language to understand emerging risks, identify who or what is affected, and determine what to do next. "Many of our customers are responsible for protecting thousands of people and locations, often with lean teams and an incredible amount of information to analyze every day," said Eric Curwin, Chief AI Officer at AlertMedia. "AI Assistant is designed to give those teams valuable time back by reducing the repetitive work of searching, synthesizing, assessing impact, and drafting summaries. By extending conversational AI across the entire AlertMedia platform, our intent is to help our customers spend more of their time on what humans do best: applying their expertise, making critical decisions, and coordinating an effective response." Security teams today are being asked to protect increasingly distributed workforces, monitor more risk, and respond faster, often with limited resources. Meanwhile, intelligence, news, government advisories, traveler information, and operational systems are generating more data than teams can manually process, forcing operators to navigate between products, dashboards, and workflows to understand the potential impact on the organization, and decide how to respond. AI Assistant addresses that challenge by bringing together information available across the AlertMedia platform - leveraging 40 agentic tools spanning threat intelligence, social intelligence, traveler information, incident data, emergency notifications, and other operational context - into a single conversational experience. Users can ask a question and receive synthesized answers grounded in the AlertMedia data, reducing the need to manually search across different tools and user interfaces to piece together related information. "In a security event, the first question is simple: what's happening, how close is it to our people and facilities, and do we need to act," says James Shepheard, Sr. Director of Risk Management HSE/BCP at Thales. "AlertMedia's AI is getting to those answers faster so our teams can focus on making the right decision." Julius Jayasekaran, Head of Global Safety & Security at Datadog, added, "What's compelling about AlertMedia's approach to AI is bringing the analysis into one place. It combines the threat and travel data we already rely on with AI to help us understand what matters faster." Key capabilities include: * Quickly understand what's happening by bringing together threat intelligence, traveler information, and operational context into one conversational experience. * Instantly analyze impact through a persistent conversation that carries context forward, helping you quickly identify affected people, travelers, locations, and assets, as well as emerging sentiment trends across the risk landscape. * Ask questions instead of navigating the platform to quickly find information, navigate workflows, configure maps, and retrieve answers through natural language. * Generate executive-ready summaries and briefings so leadership can quickly understand what matters most without hours of manual analysis and formatting. * Empower teams with secure, governed AI tools designed to respect each user's existing roles and permissions. Deliver agentic capabilities that expand what teams can accomplish while keeping humans accountable for action. Additional capabilities to be released later this year include: * Personalized reporting workflows that automatically generate reports in an organization's preferred format, structure, and tailored to the intended audience. * Proactive recommendations on potential next-best actions based on unfolding events, organizational context, and established response plans. * Expanded incident response workflows that help teams spin up incident pages and execute multi-step workflows from a single conversation. AI Assistant is immediately available in beta to AlertMedia customers worldwide. To see AlertMedia's AI Assistant in action, visit BC in the Cloud at GSX 2026 in booth # 3819. LeanDNA appoints vice presidents in customer success push.

LeanDNA appoints vice presidents in customer success push. Wed, 5th Aug 2026 (Yesterday) LeanDNA has appointed Lindsey Brown Vice President of Customer Success and promoted Daniel Taylor to Vice President of Solutions & Services, expanding its customer-facing leadership team. Brown joins from Zello, where she served as vice president of customer success, and previously held customer success leadership roles at AlertMedia. At LeanDNA, she will lead the global customer success organisation. Taylor, who has been with the company for 12 years, will take on a newly created role that combines solutioning, customer education, and professional services. He previously helped build LeanDNA's global customer success operations. The appointments come as LeanDNA continues to add senior leaders during a period of growth. In 2025, it secured a strategic growth investment from Accel-KKR and was named to the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the US for a fourth consecutive year. Over the past two years, the company has also added leaders across engineering and product, alongside the appointment of Andy Ellenthal as chief executive officer. Customer roles Brown brings more than a decade of customer success leadership experience. Based in Austin, she will work with manufacturers as LeanDNA expands its customer organisation. Ellenthal said the appointments reflect a broader shift in how LeanDNA supports customers. "Lindsey joins us at a pivotal moment of growth. Her track record of building customer-obsessed teams and delivering meaningful outcomes is exactly what our customers deserve as we scale. At the same time, Daniel's move into Solutions & Services reflects the natural evolution of how we show up for the manufacturers we serve. Together, these leaders position us to help customers realize value faster than ever," said Andy Ellenthal, chief executive officer of LeanDNA. Brown said the role aligns with her focus on customer results. "Every experience in my career has reinforced my passion for helping customers achieve meaningful outcomes and building teams that make a lasting impact. I'm energized to partner with the talented team at LeanDNA as we continue helping manufacturers optimize their supply chains and drive business results. This is a customer-focused, innovative organization, and I couldn't be more excited for what's ahead," Brown said. Expanded remit Taylor's new position formalises a broader remit across services and education as LeanDNA looks to align its advisory and delivery functions. In 2025, Supply & Demand Chain Executive recognised him as a "Pros to Know" honoree for his leadership in customer success operations. The combined structure is intended to shorten the time it takes customers to see returns from LeanDNA's software and services. The company sells supply chain execution software to discrete manufacturers, with a focus on factory-first supply planning and inventory optimisation. Taylor said the new structure reflects how LeanDNA is evolving its customer support model. "We're building an organization designed to help customers realize value faster and turn our collective expertise into a real competitive advantage. Winning in any complex enterprise environment is a team sport, and we have a phenomenal team that I'm excited to keep building. This newly created role is a natural progression of how we show up for our customers," Taylor said. LeanDNA helps manufacturers manage materials visibility, supplier collaboration, and inventory decisions. Its APEX platform is designed to give supply chain teams a clearer view of current and incoming materials and support action based on inventory needs. For LeanDNA, the leadership changes also signal a continued emphasis on post-sale relationships at a time when software companies face pressure to retain customers and demonstrate measurable returns. Bringing in a senior customer success executive from outside the business while elevating a long-serving internal leader suggests a dual approach of adding external experience and preserving operational continuity. That continuity rests in part with Taylor, whose tenure stretches back to the company's early years. Brown, meanwhile, brings experience from software companies that built customer success functions during periods of expansion. LeanDNA operates in a market where manufacturers are trying to improve delivery performance while managing working capital and inventory levels. That increases demand for software vendors that can not only sell tools, but also help customers use them effectively across procurement, planning, and supplier teams.
