Requirements
- JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, jQuery, and HTML5.
- Understanding of JavaScript optimization and performance measurement, race-condition detection, paint-issue debugging, the JavaScript event model, promise interfaces, and modular JavaScript using Asynchronous Module Definition (AMD).
- Experience producing cross-browser functional code.
- CSS proficiency, including LESS or SASS preprocessors, efficient selectors, CSS rule specificity, rule organization, cross-browser CSS issues, and responsive design.
- Exposure to web-based mobile user-interface development and general web technologies.
- Knowledge of web security, including cross-site scripting (XSS) and cross-site request forgery (CSRF) prevention.
- Experience optimizing pages for performance and writing or understanding semantic markup.
- Experience with HTML5 features, rapid-development workflow technologies such as Grunt, and version control such as Subversion (SVN) or Git.
- Knowledge of accessibility, ARIA tags, and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0.
