Requirements
  • An Associate’s degree and 16 or more years of related experience, or a Bachelor’s degree and 6 or more years of related experience, or a Master’s degree with 2 or more years of related experience, or a PhD with 0 or more years of experience.

Responsibilities
  • Develop analytical methodology using high-performance liquid chromatography, liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry, ultraviolet analysis, and/or electrophoresis.
  • Perform analytical techniques including reversed-phase, size-exclusion, and ion-exchange high-performance liquid chromatography; quantitative and qualitative liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry; moisture content testing; identification testing; and standard or capillary electrophoresis.
  • Evaluate and interpret generated data.
  • Analyze information for technical correctness and accuracy.
  • Apply the theoretical basis of methods and experiments.
  • Solve problems of diverse scope by evaluating identifiable factors in analytical data.
  • Write test procedures, protocols, and reports.
  • Maintain working knowledge of required instrumentation, equipment, and scientific methodologies.
  • Assist with hazardous-waste removal, routine equipment cleaning, and restocking consumable products and reagents.
  • Use laboratory software packages including Empower3, ProCal, MasterControl, and electronic laboratory notebooks.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment free of safety hazards.
  • Complete company training requirements and ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practice and other relevant training requirements.
  • Supervise, handle, or process hazardous waste under applicable Resource Conservation and Recovery Act requirements.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

  • Working knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practice in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment.
