- An industrial mechanical maintenance license (433A) is required, with a dual 433A and 309A ticket preferred.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment in a high-speed production environment is required.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation is required.
- Experience working with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is required.
- Strong organizational skills and experience managing spare-parts inventory are required.
- Effective communication with employees at all levels of the organization is required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required.
- Commitment to workplace safety and established maintenance procedures is required.
- Ability to work shifts is required.
- Follow company safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
- Apply knowledge of personal protective equipment requirements, electrical safety, energy isolation (Lockout/Tagout), Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, manufacturer recommendations, and plant safety standards.
- Partner with Production to keep equipment in safe, reliable, and efficient operating condition.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective mechanical maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Read and interpret mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and equipment drawings and schematics.
- Perform equipment startup and shutdown procedures safely and efficiently.
- Maintain the maintenance spare-parts crib using First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory practices.
- Help the Maintenance Planner maintain appropriate spare-parts inventory levels.
- Use the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document repairs and completed work orders, maintain equipment history, upload drawings and technical documentation, and support maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance documentation and repair records.
- Assist with capital project planning, capital authorization requests, and project tracking.
- Evaluate maintenance procedures and recommend improvements that increase equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Participate in Global Performance System (GPS) initiatives and continuous-improvement activities.
- Communicate with maintenance personnel, production employees, supervisors, and leadership.
- Perform additional maintenance duties and assigned projects.
- A dual 433A and 309A industrial maintenance ticket is preferred.
- Interest in identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability and maintenance processes.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment focused on continuous improvement.
