Requirements
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role building system integrations.
  • Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying APIs in a production environment.
  • Strong understanding of API architectural styles and web services.
  • Ability to perform troubleshooting and debugging.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly through written and verbal communication.
  • Problem-solving and multitasking skills with a customer-oriented attitude.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable API integration code.
  • Implement and enforce API security protocols, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
  • Collaborate with key team members to translate business requirements into technical documentation.
  • Implement and integrate artificial intelligence tools and frameworks within API services.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive API documentation, including endpoints, data models, and usage guidelines.
  • Configure and reconfigure business systems.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide second-level technical support for system issues and concerns, collaborating with end users, technology teams, and vendors to resolve incidents and fulfill requests.
  • Support current information technology standards.
  • Support and enforce company information policies and procedures.
  • Promptly resolve issues brought to the department's attention and notify senior leadership of non-routine problems and issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence and experience building artificial intelligence models.
  • Working knowledge and experience with transportation management systems, enterprise resource planning systems, human resources information systems, and other central business applications.
  • Industry knowledge of intermodal, drayage, brokerage, and warehousing.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-growth or fast-paced environment.
