Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in a business intelligence, data analytics or related roles
  • 7+ years working in Python for statistical analysis and advanced analytics.
  • In depth understanding of Fixed Income Asset Management (including portfolio management reporting).
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with databases
  • Strong knowledge of database design and data structures
  • Broad experience building solutions with quick time to market
  • Experience with cloud-based data solutions, Azure is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to translate data insights into business recommendations.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement advanced Power BI solutions: Create complex data models, reports, and dashboards that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.
  • Integrate statistical analysis and data science: Utilize Python for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and machine learning to enhance the accuracy and predictive power of our BI solutions.
  • Leverage Microsoft Fabric Platform: Utilize the capabilities of the Microsoft Fabric Platform to optimize data architecture, storage, and processing for BI applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with marketing, IT, and customer service departments to understand their data needs and deliver tailored BI solutions.
  • Maintain and enhance BI infrastructure: Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our BI systems and tools.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship: Guide junior developers and analysts in best practices for Power BI development, Python programming, and data science.
  • Document and maintain standards, best practices, and standard operating procedures.
  • Stay updated with industry trends: Continuously learn and apply new techniques and technologies in BI, data science, and the Microsoft Fabric Platform.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in data mining and statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
