Requirements
- Proven success in implementing and maintaining an asset management system, including architecture, configuration, deployment, and maintenance
- Ability to clearly explain solutions to technical issues and create explicit and concise documentation for users
- Communicate effectively in both written and verbal form
- Flexible and capable of multitasking, prioritizing tasks to pivot with business needs in a fast-paced startup environment
- Ability to work with employees, vendors, and business partners in a friendly, customer-oriented manner
- Experience in the following areas:
- Email configuration (MX and SPF records)
- Splunk experience required
- Okta and groups, workflows, and SSO
- Using MDM tools such as JumpCloud, JAMF, InTune, Ooomnitza
- Supporting Google Workspace, including Gmail, Google Sheets, and Google Forms
- Troubleshooting user problems on laptops, network, authentication, etc
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
- Extensive knowledge of PC and Mac hardware, operating systems and general user applications, VPN, SSO with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve all hardware and software issues
- Strong strategic thinking, prioritization and problem-solving abilities
- Capable of working with employees, vendors, and business partners in a friendly, customer-oriented manner
- Desire to thrive in a remote work environment and communicate with staff and stakeholders across the globe
- Entrepreneurial spirit: a self-starter who is internally driven to impact a department and a growth-directed organization
- At least 3-5 years of experience with managing end user assets through their lifecycle on behalf of a growing organization with a remote workforce
- Related technical certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years Experience with mentoring / leading a small IT team
Responsibilities
- Build a solid technology base to align with industry best practices for user endpoint devices
- Implement and manage endpoint solutions to support current needs and scale for growth
- Support all departments with a primary focus in the US region
- Lead US Based IT activities
- Work as part of a distributed IT team responsible for several sites, follow the technical and security guidance and ensure meeting ISO/SOC compliance needs
- Maintain continuity of technical support (Helpdesk) during overlapping business hours in other regions
- Provide immediate technical support to employees for hardware and operating system issues along with administrative tasks
- Support the full employee life-cycle of events from onboarding to off-boarding
- Create and execute an Asset Management program across the life cycle of user and device management
- Set endpoint device standards including software, configuration, tools, remote support, and security
- Manage the procurement, deployment, rapid replacement and return of all hardware and peripheral home office equipment to US employees including decommission
- Prioritize responsibilities as they evolve on a day-to-day basis, and escalate appropriately
- Respond swiftly to IT-related emergencies, which may occur outside of normal business hours on evenings and weekends
- Execute ad-hoc projects as assigned
