Requirements
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in business strategy, consulting, marketing, or finance operations, ideally within B2B media, events, or membership organizations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experienced in developing strategic powerpoint presentations for executive level stakeholders, and proven track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market plans.
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing complex projects, prioritizing tasks, and delivering results on time and within budget.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of translating business objectives into actionable project plans.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software; PMP or similar certification is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Support the execution of strategic initiatives that drive growth, innovation, and revenue for Dow Jones Live & Events, with a focus on B2B and B2C portfolios.
  • Develop and manage project plans, including tasks, milestones, resources, and budgets, collaborating with teams across Marketing, Sales, Programming, Event Production, and Finance.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and audience segmentation to identify trends, expansion opportunities, and areas for event differentiation.
  • Assist in developing go-to-market strategies for new and existing event products, ensuring alignment with audience needs and commercial goals.
  • Assist in integrating Dow Jones' B2B brands (World ECR, OPIS, Risk & Compliance) into the broader events strategy.
  • Identify opportunities to expand B2B event offerings, particularly in financial, regulatory, energy, and risk-focused sectors.
  • Identify and manage strategic partnerships to expand market reach, enhance audience engagement, and generate new revenue streams.
  • Research and recommend innovative event strategies, experiential technologies, and emerging trends to optimize attendee experience and sponsor value.
  • Champion promotional initiatives such as PR partnerships, awards, and media opportunities to enhance event visibility and impact.
  • Assist in budget planning, financial forecasting, and resource allocation, working closely with Finance and Operations teams.
  • Help streamline internal workflows to improve operational efficiency across event execution, team structures, and reporting.
  • Build and deliver compelling business and strategic presentations for senior leadership, including decks for new business development and strategic initiatives.
  • Proactively contribute ideas for process improvements and new approaches to business growth.
Desired Qualifications
