Requirements
  • At least 5 years’ experience as an Electrical Engineering Technician/or 8 years master electrician.
  • BA or BS degree in a construction, architecture, or engineering related field is required.
  • Background in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Industry Project software packages to include but not limited to latest versions of Microsoft Project, Primavera, AutoCADD, Revit, Prolog, etc.
  • Relevant experience includes, but is not limited to, a comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles and analytical techniques in order to support complex engineering assignments relating to civil engineering disciplines.
  • Shall have experience in DoD project programming and development of programming documents (e.g. DD 1391s) and in gathering data to solve complex technical problems and be able to follow established project related procedures and complete established project milestones.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications, write scopes of work, interpret contract terms and conditions, working knowledge of CPM scheduling, communication skills, intermediate computer skills and Leadership skills.
Responsibilities
  • Develop Task Order requirements and acquisition packages for government use.
  • Assist in the execution of 21 CES FSRM projects.
  • Perform all required PMTL data entry for assigned projects.
  • Coordinate with customers, facility managers and other governmental personnel, as necessary, to define project requirements, ensure compliance with Federal, State, local and Air/Space Force regulations, prepare Statements of Work (SOW), develop cost estimates, and other components of the acquisition package for government approval and submission.
  • Assist government and/or the design programmers in preparing the scopes of the projects.
  • Assist in identifying the extent of repairs and alterations work required at the facilities, based on thorough investigations and field inspections of the conditions of the buildings, systems, and an understanding of future uses of the facilities.
  • Responsible for the engineering analysis, development, design of and the preparation of complete plans and specifications for new work and improvements.
  • Provides technical oversight and evaluation concerning all engineering disciplines as they pertain to all project work.
  • Independently responsible and accountable for determining the action necessary in the development and completion of design projects, coordination of a project staff which may include architects, engineers, engineering technicians, draftsmen, and clerk/typists and review of the final contract documents.
