Requirements
  • The candidate must have 10 or more years of dedicated experience in sales compensation design and administration, including experience with a consumption-based business model.
  • The candidate must have at least 3 years of experience directly managing, mentoring, and evaluating direct reports within a revenue operations or corporate compensation environment.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and administer comprehensive sales commission plans for more than 100 employees across Sales, Customer Success, Sales Engineering, and other departments.
  • Partner with the Senior Vice President of Revenue Operations, sales leaders, and Finance to model, forecast, and align compensation strategies with go-to-market objectives.
  • Assess the operational feasibility of proposed plans so they can be administered accurately at scale.
  • Directly manage, develop, and mentor a team of two compensation professionals, overseeing their daily workflows, monthly deliverables, and professional growth.
  • Leverage compensation tools and technology to streamline processes, automate commission calculations, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to use artificial intelligence to automate manual workflows, reconcile complex datasets, and accelerate validation of commission outputs.
  • Design, build, and standardize monthly and quarterly reporting packages for Finance and Sales Leadership to track commission spend, budget variances, and plan effectiveness.
  • Gather and analyze sales data, performance metrics, and revenue trends to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations for future plan modifications.
  • Oversee the monthly commission cycle, including personally reviewing every employee statement in detail each month.
  • Master CaptivateIQ while maintaining readiness to transition the entire commission process when necessary.
  • Ensure compensation plans remain competitive, equitable, and compliant with relevant financial standards and regulations.
  • Advise sellers and sales leadership, create clear documentation, and conduct regular feedback loops through surveys and town halls.
  • Partner with Finance to establish auditing, reconciliation, and expense-forecasting workflows.
Desired Qualifications
  • An MBA or Certified Compensation Professional designation is preferred.
  • Experience with Varicent or Xactly is welcome.

Prove invests $5M to expand Ireland R&D hub and create 50 jobs

Prove, a digital identity company, is expanding its Ireland operations with a $5 million investment and plans to create 50 jobs. The Dublin hub has grown local headcount by 50% in the past six months and will support global product development.
