Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in cost accounting
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
  • Cost accounting experience in manufacturing and a strong understanding of costing methods
  • Advanced Excel skills and excel at managing and analyzing large data sets
  • Prepared for 30% travel for inventory audits, team meetings, and ERP implementation
  • CPA or CMA certification (even better if)
  • Experience with ERP implementation and in environments with multiple operating units (even better if)
Responsibilities
  • Perform cost analysis, oversee month-end closing, and lead variance analysis
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure precise costing and accurate financial reporting, supporting strategic decision-making
  • Manage inventory controls, conduct counts, and lead reconciliation
  • Oversee inter-company inventory transactions and streamline reporting processes
  • Support ERP implementation and lead inventory audits
