Requirements
  • C# programming language
  • ExpressApp Framework (XAF) and Express Persistent Objects (XPO) application development framework and ORM framework
  • Model-View-Controller architectural design pattern and coding practices
  • NET Framework class libraries: XML, Text, IO, Net, Directory Services, Component Model, Language Integrated Query, and Windows Forms coding practices
  • Microsoft SQL Server, Data Quality Tools, SQL Server Integration Services, data cleansing, database normalization, and ETL practices
  • Experience: minimum 6 years

Responsibilities
  • Redesign and migration of existing SharePoint applications into standalone applications for Cemetery Management System, Volunteer Management System, and In-service Management System
  • Develop standalone applications that simplify help desk support, enable future application model customization, facilitate feature development, and support troubleshooting for Agency IT staff
  • Develop ETL systems to extract State employee data from the State Controller’s Office for submission to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and to collect contracted employee data for ETL and CMS submission
  • Implement on-premise Windows Forms based applications with a SQL Server data store and an automatic User Interface generation framework
  • Implement an Object Relational Mapping framework that automatically manages data access layer code and database schema updates from business object class code; refactor existing databases for data quality and normalization prior to migration
  • Avoid the use of SQL stored procedures where possible; redesign and migrate data as needed; implement ETL processes into redesigned applications
  • Develop an application model editor that provides program feature customization at runtime
  • Create System Requirements Specifications for each application prior to implementation and use descriptive, non-abbreviated naming for code objects; provide XML comments detailing class summaries, property descriptions, method parameters, return types, and any special remarks/code examples
  • Develop SRS documentation, use cases, acceptance criteria, and test plans
