Requirements
  • Electrical engineering degree/diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of relevant experience as a Hardware Engineer or relevant field
  • Demonstrated experience working with complex electronic designs
  • Strong understanding of mixed-signal design, and signal integrity principles
  • Experience with board-level testing/troubleshooting techniques, and EMI mitigation
  • Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience working with test and measurement equipment
  • Understanding of SMT assembly process, and strong rework and hand-soldering skills
  • Experience with design simulation, test automation, analysis, and CAD tools
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of full product cycle from design to manufacturing
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Focused, detail oriented, and able to work independently
Responsibilities
  • Debug electrical issues at all stages of design, development and manufacturing, including EMC / EMI
  • Interface with manufacturing to help reproduce, diagnose, and resolve issues on new and established products
  • Participate in the selection, specification and procurement of equipment for all aspects of design, measurement, testing and validation
  • Circuit design, schematic entry, printed circuit board layout, prototype testing, and manufacturing support
  • Integrate and test software and hardware components for the purposes of product development, modification, or improvement
  • Perform testing and modifications to validate regulatory compliance certification
  • Contribute to the development of the company’s strategy, intellectual property, quality and continuous improvement efforts
  • Write and edit technical reports, proposals, presentations, and other materials
