Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business leaders and IT executives to understand the organization's strategic objectives and translate them into technical requirements for business systems.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive enterprise architecture roadmap that aligns with the organization's business strategy.
  • Define and document the target architecture for business systems, including components, interfaces, data, and technology standards.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, ERP) to support the organization's needs.
  • Ensure that the architecture is scalable, flexible, and adaptable to changing business requirements.
  • Create high-level architecture blueprints, diagrams, and detailed documentation to guide implementation teams in system builds and deployments.
  • Provide architectural guidance and oversight during the implementation of business systems projects.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure that solutions adhere to the defined architecture standards and best practices.
  • Address architectural issues and challenges that may arise during implementation.
  • Identify potential security risks and ensure that all systems adhere to the company’s data security policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and enforce governance processes to ensure that business systems align with the enterprise architecture.
  • Evaluate and approve technology investments and initiatives based on their alignment with the architecture.
  • Monitor and assess the performance of business systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends that could impact the organization's business systems.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement within the enterprise architecture.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within the IT organization.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to IT staff, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure a deep understanding of the architecture and systems.
