Position Overview
The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for the strategic design and integration of all business systems, including but not limited to Salesforce, NetSuite, and other digital operational platforms. This role will lead the architecture of enterprise-level systems, ensuring that all technologies align with business objectives, promote efficiency, and support scalability. The Enterprise Architect will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to define and implement best practices and system standards, ensuring seamless operations and continuous improvement in all business systems.

Primary Job Duties
Strategic Alignment:
- Collaborate with business leaders and IT executives to understand the organization’s strategic objectives and translate them into technical requirements for business systems.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive enterprise architecture roadmap that aligns with the organization’s business strategy.
Architecture Design:
- Define and document the target architecture for business systems, including components, interfaces, data, and technology standards.
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, ERP) to support the organization’s needs.
- Ensure that the architecture is scalable, flexible, and adaptable to changing business requirements.
Implementation Guidance:
- Create high-level architecture blueprints, diagrams, and detailed documentation to guide implementation teams in system builds and deployments.
- Provide architectural guidance and oversight during the implementation of business systems projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure that solutions adhere to the defined architecture standards and best practices.
- Address architectural issues and challenges that may arise during implementation.
- Identify potential security risks and ensure that all systems adhere to the company’s data security policies and regulatory requirements.
Technology Governance:
- Establish and enforce governance processes to ensure that business systems align with the enterprise architecture.
- Evaluate and approve technology investments and initiatives based on their alignment with the architecture.
- Monitor and assess the performance of business systems to identify areas for improvement.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends that could impact the organization’s business systems.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement within the enterprise architecture.
- Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within the IT organization.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to IT staff, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure a deep understanding of the architecture and systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a focus on business systems.
- Strong understanding of business systems concepts, including ERP, CRM, and other enterprise applications with an emphasis on Saleforce
- Proficiency in architectural frameworks and methodologies
- Experience with cloud-based platforms and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- A passion for technology and a commitment to delivering value to the organization.
- Strong expertise in Salesforce and NetSuite architecture, including data models, APIs, workflows, and security.
Desired Skills
- Experience with specific business systems platforms (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
- Certification in enterprise architecture or a related field.
- Experience with data architecture and data governance.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and risk management.
