We are currently looking for a Director of Product Operations who will lead the effort in enabling our product teams to run efficiently across the product development lifecycle. Product Operations is a brand-new function at Chatham Financial, giving you the chance to shape our priorities and leave a lasting impact on the product organization, the company, and our clients. You will report directly to the Head of Product and start as an individual contributor with ownership over developing the systems that help our Product Management function scale. This includes robust product feedback loops, consistency in planning, structured go-to-market support and facilitating excellent communication across the organization.
This role focuses on enabling the product team with the necessary tools, data, and processes to create and deliver exceptional products. The ideal candidate will streamline operations, facilitate collaboration, and drive continuous improvement within the product organization. They will do so in partnership with leadership across product management, engineering, design, and analytics.
In this role you will:
- Enhance the Product Operating Model
- Orchestrate core planning processes, including annual and quarterly planning with product teams, stakeholders and leadership.
- Create and maintain product roadmap and reporting templates to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Select, implement, and train teams on tools for product engagement, ticket tracking, and more.
- Foster continued growth and development for Product Managers by organizing training and other developmental activities.
- Evangelize OKRs in the product organization and support their adoption through process and tools.
- In partnership with product leaders, finance teams, and vendors, manage the product org’s budget, headcount, and financial planning and tracking.
- Apply best practices to support Product in managing goals, competing stakeholder and client requests, prioritization and balance of short-to-longer term planning.
- Enable organization with data
- Create universal awareness of key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring alignment with business and product goals.
- Automate and create self-service opportunities for analysis to empower product teams with actionable insights across client feedback, financials, customer support and product usage.
- Common understanding and tracking of products and features across the organization.

Contributors to your success:
- 10+ years of product strategy, management, or operations experience, with at least 5 years at management level in Product Operations
- Proven track record of establishing Product Operations in a highly cross-functional organization
- Strong understanding of product development processes and agile methodologies
- Experience selecting and implementing SaaS or tooling (e.g. roadmapping software, customer analytics, data analysis, and so on)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset with clearly demonstrated impact on business outcomes
- Hands-on experience with instituting OKRs, core planning cadences and tooling for Product Management critical
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to influence without direct authority and manage stakeholders at all levels
- Sets clear and challenging goals while committing the organization to improved performance, tenacious and accountable in driving results
- Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty; the ability to adapt nimbly and lead others through complex situations
- The ability to be successful in a complicated, highly collaborative enterprise is necessary, especially in those with operational complexity, and diverse customer needs
