- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- One to three years of experience in the construction and/or low-voltage industry, including structured cabling, wireless, security, or audio visual work, is required.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook is required.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines are required.
- Clear, confident written and verbal communication is required.
- The candidate must be comfortable coordinating with vendors, subcontractors, and teams across divisions.
- Experience with Commscope, Legrand, Panduit, Cisco, Hanwha, Bosch, Avigilon, Axis, Crestron, and Extron is required.
- Keep Project Managers and Estimators on track with day-to-day scheduling, correspondence, and file organization.
- Prepare, distribute, and track purchase orders, and coordinate material ordering and delivery timing with vendors and the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date project documentation, including submittals, change orders, requests for information, and as-built records.
- Coordinate crew and subcontractor scheduling logistics, including travel and lodging arrangements as needed.
- Track project status, budgets, and timelines, and help prepare status reports for internal and client review.
- Schedule and help run project meetings, kickoffs, and walkthroughs, including agendas and notes.
- Compile closeout documentation, including warranties, punch lists, and final project files.
- Support invoicing by coordinating with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and verifying billing backup documentation.
- Serve as a point of contact for routine client and vendor communications, involving the appropriate Project Manager when needed.
- Travel locally as required.
- Experience with project management or scheduling software such as Procore, Primavera P6, or HeavyBid is preferred.
- An associate's degree is a plus.
