Requirements
  • Experience with digital design through HDL and schematic layout
  • Experience with using AMD Vitis and Vitis tools or Vivado
  • Experience with Digital Signal Processing mathematics and implementing in synthesizable HDL
  • Experience with benchtop equipment, including Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Arbitrary Waveform Generator, and Vector Signal Generator, and their operating modes
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in EE or Computer Engineering
  • Experience with RF signal propagation chain configurations and scientific analysis software, including MATLAB
  • Experience with tools for FPGA development, including Intel Quartus
  • Knowledge of RADAR and Electromagnetic Warfare, including EA and Electronic Support (ES) concepts
  • Knowledge of commercial RF and digital component and assembly distributers for rapid prototyping purposes
  • Knowledge of wideband RF signal acquisition and generation concepts and development processes with FPGAs
  • Knowledge of embedded Linux and RTOS development, including PetaLinux, U-Boot, yocto, BitBake, and OpenEmbedded, or device tree components
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree in EE
Responsibilities
  • Help test, design, and develop specific algorithms in FPGAs
  • Evolve algorithms with advanced technology solutions
  • Share expertise through leadership and mentoring of a hardware team focused on digital design and algorithm testing with FPGAs
  • Work alongside RF or radar modeling and simulation engineers
  • Compare model outputs with corresponding hardware implementations to provide validation of threat representations
