Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED and two years of healthcare work experience are required.
  • An Associate's Degree in Health Care and two years of healthcare work experience are preferred.
  • Experience with office-based vision, hearing, and electrocardiogram testing is required.
  • Experience with urine dipstick testing is required.
  • Experience taking vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, height, weight, and respiratory rate, is required.
  • Discretion and confidentiality when handling employee records are required.
  • Ability to use computers and Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required.
  • Organizational and communication skills are required.
  • Availability to work at medical trailers and on-site locations throughout the company service territory is required.
  • A driver's license is required.
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automated external defibrillator certification are required.
  • Spirometry certification must be obtained within 90 days.
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds is required.
  • Ability to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer while sitting or standing for the duration of the workday is required.
  • Manual dexterity and the ability to use the hands for the duration of the workday are required.
  • Ability to stoop, bend, reach, and kneel throughout the workday is required.
  • Ability to stand while using or operating office equipment for the duration of the workday is required.
  • Assignment to a System Emergency Assignment requires availability during non-business hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, during emergencies.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced service environment is required.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the company service territory and work on mobile medical trailers is required.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct medical office-based diagnostic tests and analysis for occupational health screening, surveillance, and regulatory examinations.
  • Conduct vision and hearing tests, spirometry, biometric measurements, vital-sign measurements, and urine dipstick tests.
  • Answer telephones and perform word processing, scanning, and filing.
  • Enter data, run reports, and perform scheduling support functions in the electronic medical records system, including Cority.
  • Coordinate with vendors for services required for medical trailer operation and maintenance.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary environment in medical examination rooms and medical trailers.
  • Stock and organize on-site and off-site supply closets.
  • Assist with medical supply inventory and ordering.
  • Handle the daily operation of medical vans.

  • Experience with medical record administration, including scanning and filing medical charts.
  • Familiarity with scheduling office appointments.
  • Experience in an occupational health environment.
  • Familiarity with drug-testing programs.
  • Experience working with electronic medical records.
  • American Medical Technologist certification.
  • American Society for Clinical Pathology certification.
  • National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science certification.

(Con Edison) (NYSE: ED) today reported 2024 net income for common stock of $1,820 million or $5.26 a share compared with $2,519 million or $7.25 a share in 2023.
