  • Previous customer-facing service engineering experience within the medical equipment or biomedical industry.
  • Experience with hospital patient monitoring is ideal.
  • Strong information technology skills and networking experience are highly regarded.
  • Degree-level education or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.
  • A full Australian driver's licence.
  • Existing Australian working rights.
  • Ability to work reasonable additional hours outside business hours when necessary to perform the role effectively.
  • Police checks are required during the onboarding process.
Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the wider organisation to provide service to customers, including corrective and preventative maintenance, commissioning and installation of equipment, and software and hardware upgrades.
  • Participate in the sales process and provide technical support throughout the customer relationship lifecycle, from pre-sales through implementation and post-sales support.
  • Lead the management and support of technical escalations through resolution, keeping stakeholders updated according to company process.
  • Provide technical support, maintenance, and repairs on equipment by determining cost-effective repairs or solutions to minimise customer downtime.
  • Maintain technical knowledge through continual training and development, stay current with relevant technologies, and adopt new technology.
