Requirements
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in commercial real estate, title insurance, financial services, commercial lending, or a related industry, including significant leadership responsibility.
  • A proven track record of leading national or regional sales organizations and delivering revenue growth.
  • Deep understanding of commercial real estate transactions, title insurance, commercial lending, underwriting principles, and risk management.
  • Established relationships with Bay Street law firms, commercial lenders, developers, institutional investors, and other key commercial real estate stakeholders.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and key decision-makers.
  • Experience leading high-performing sales teams and managing complex enterprise accounts.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Expertise in Salesforce customer relationship management, pipeline management, forecasting, and performance analytics.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, relationship management, and leadership skills.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Law, or a related field.
Responsibilities
  • Execute the national commercial sales strategy and align business development activities with corporate growth objectives.
  • Identify and prioritize target markets, client segments, regions, and asset classes to maximize growth opportunities.
  • Own national revenue, profitability, and market share objectives for commercial title insurance and related solutions.
  • Expand the company's presence with national and regional accounts through new business acquisition and strategic account growth.
  • Recruit, coach, and lead a high-performing team of commercial business development professionals.
  • Establish performance metrics, incentive programs, and training initiatives that support a consultative, relationship-driven sales culture.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with key clients and influencers, including law firms, lenders, developers, institutional investors, brokers, and industry associations.
  • Serve as the executive sales leader for strategic Bay Street relationships and complex commercial real estate transactions.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and speaking engagements to strengthen brand presence and market leadership.
  • Develop and execute a national strategy for strategic partnerships across the commercial real estate industry.
  • Identify emerging business opportunities, strengthen market positioning, and support enterprise growth initiatives.
  • Champion a client-centric approach focused on relationship management, client satisfaction, retention, and executive engagement.
  • Partner with Operations, Underwriting, and Client Service teams to enhance the client experience, increase loyalty, and drive referrals and repeat business.
  • Ensure effective governance and oversight of strategic client relationships.
  • Partner with Underwriting, Operations, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Revenue Operations to align sales efforts with business priorities, service delivery capabilities, and risk appetite.
  • Support the development and adoption of products, services, pricing strategies, and digital solutions informed by client and market insights.
  • Collaborate on marketing campaigns, thought leadership initiatives, and client engagement programs that support commercial growth.
  • Provide expertise on commercial real estate transactions, title insurance solutions, underwriting considerations, and risk management practices.
  • Partner with Underwriting leadership to evaluate complex opportunities and align client needs with corporate risk guidelines.
  • Monitor legal, regulatory, competitive, and market trends and translate insights into actionable business and sales strategies.
  • Guide the sales organization on transaction complexity, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee forecasting accuracy, pipeline management, customer relationship management discipline, and sales performance across all regions.
  • Provide data-driven insights, performance analytics, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Keep executive leadership informed of sales performance, market conditions, competitive developments, and emerging opportunities.
  • Recommend strategic adjustments based on changing economic, lending, and commercial real estate conditions.
