Requirements
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience or a MS Degree in Engineering and 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and experience in the design, analysis, development and production of complex electromechanical hardware.
  • Experience with component design, development and verification testing.
  • Project leadership experience is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
  • Lead a cross-functional team through the common development process to successfully deploy test systems while maintaining budget and prescribed schedules.
  • Establish and monitor engineering project budgets and schedules.
  • Validate conceptual problem solutions by performing trade studies and analyses.
  • Prepare successful proposal designs, cost estimates, and shoulder the responsibility for writing the technical volume.
  • Coordinate and support the procurement and assembly of test equipment.
  • Work closely with the internal program teams to provide the design of specialized test equipment, systems architecture and interface definition, and requirements validation.
  • Lead the design process and provide technical leadership within Moog’s program scope.
