SumUp has a SuperApp that hosts all of the different products we offer to our merchants - from business accounts to invoicing to managing payments. About the team

You will be able to connect with mobile engineers from all over the company as our initiatives are far-reaching. You will contribute to the development of new innovative features to our different products available for merchants on the SumUp SuperApp or our consumer app SumUp Pay. You’ll work in a "You write it, you own it" Engineering culture taking over ownership of deployment of your code and maintaining CI/CD for Mobile projects.

 What you’ll do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality iOS features
• Architect and implement features that enhance user engagement, performance, and reliability
• You’ll develop major features that impact our developer community. You’ll work closely with the rest of the team to drive our roadmap and design our developer experience 
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices to continuously optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and maintainability
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain application stability and performance

You’ll be great for this position if

• You have hands-on experience building mobile applications of similar complexity to SumUp’s SuperApp
• You are comfortable with Swift
• You have good knowledge of architectural design patterns such as MVVM and MVP, and experience ensuring modularized and scalable app architecture
• You care about user interaction, usability, and of course, making the interface beautiful.
• You strive for clean code and know how to write flexible tests that won’t break
