Requirements
  • Five years of experience in product management.
  • Two years of people leadership experience.
  • A bachelor's degree with a focus in business, marketing, or another applicable field, or an additional two years of relevant training or experience in lieu of the degree.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with diverse technical and non-technical audiences, including customers, colleagues, and executives.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of application programming interfaces and web-services architecture.
  • Familiarity with Visio, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • The ability to multitask, prioritize, and solve problems.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum age of 18.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
  • Execute product strategy with a six- to twelve-month horizon by acting as the voice of the user and advocating for the user's highest needs.
  • Oversee product strategy and assist in creating individual product roadmaps.
  • Assist in creating Objectives and Key Results and Key Performance Indicators, and actively measure performance across a suite of products.
  • Conduct competitive analysis across the airline and travel industries.
  • Establish and maintain a steering committee to ensure roadmaps and features are informed and supported by key partners.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations for potential new features, optimizations, and other methods to improve the overall user experience.
  • Identify gaps in product functionality, plan future enhancements, and assign priorities.
  • Monitor user feedback to prioritize product features, enhancements, and fixes.
  • Monitor product metrics and build a reporting suite for sharing the data.
  • Communicate product status, key issues, and release plans to management, information technology, design, sales, public relations, legal, airport, and customer service stakeholders.
  • Develop people through performance management and ongoing feedback, including delegation for stretch assignments, team growth and development, performance evaluation, and time management.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and manage their expectations regularly.

  • Experience working with outside vendors, creating and managing contracts, and managing outside relationships.
  • A strong bias toward action, accountability, and ownership.
